Are indian seafarers well prepared for the jobs at sea? what more can we do to maintain our position as the country providing the best mariners to man our ships worldwide?
We have been operating ships and come across many people daily. Some of these leave a positive impression while others make us wish we never have to deal with them again.
This blog is my humble effort to highlight some of the people I wish to avoid working with, be they Surveyors, Inspectors, Charterers, Manning agents, suppliers, Office staff or Ship staff themselves.
Same time I would like to recognise people who are committed to Safer ships and shine through in our daily contacts with them.
Please fell free to add names, places and reasons why you like / dislike the person.
The names mentioned are based on unbiased discussions or encounters we have had and we encourage you all to keep this list growing.
Let's unite against people who give our shipping industry a bad name and join me in congratulating those who are an asset, in whatever capacity, to the industry.
